I personally find there to be a huge difference between sliding door showers, and a shower curtain with an open tub. I always thought that I preferred the open tub, with a shower curtain. I love being able to dress up or down a bathroom with a cool, colorful shower curtain. So, I was disappointed when the new apartment I was moving into had sliding door showers. I was only disappointed until I used the shower for the first time. It was awesome, and the best part is, it takes less upkeep. There’s no washing the curtain, or dealing with a wet curtain. The doors are simple and easy to use. They also give the bathroom a more upscale and refined look, versus a messy curtain with the shower layer. While it took me some time to come around at first, I won’t be reverting back to curtains anytime soon.
