My Friends Recommend Glass Walk In Shower Enclosures

Friday, October 17th, 2008

I have never liked bathtubs. This preference may seem strange I know, but I am much more of a shower person. It was time to get rid of my bathtub/shower combination and replace it with a beautiful new walk in shower enclosure. I was very excited and had a hard time narrowing down the many choices that are available out there.  When I started discussing my long search for the perfect shower enclosure with my friends, they recommended that I look into glass walk in shower enclosures.

Their argument was that glass is the perfect material to use in the bathroom because it looks beautiful, is eye-catching, and does not overcrowd the room. I took their recommendation and started looking at frameless glass shower enclosures. I went online to get an idea of what glass designs were out there and I found the best website: Unlimited Showers! I discovered a beautiful glass walk-in shower enclosure for a discounted price and I purchased it right away. I cannot wait until it arrives!

I also got the FM radio/CD player hook-up, the aromatherapy steam outlet option, and the chromotherapy lighting. I decided not to get the telephone hook-up option because I would prefer not to talk to people while I am having such a relaxing experience. This luxury shower is incredible and if you want to do something for your mental health today, I recommend that you buy one!

My New Sliding Door Shower is Awesome

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

The day had finally come, the day when my old shower finally bit the dust! I loved my old shower, as we had been together everyday for many years, however the time had come to replace it, so I started my new shower search. When I got to the store, I was surprised to see how many different kinds of showers and walk in shower enclosures there are, but even scarier was the price! I decided I would see if I could find a better discount online for a new shower, and that’s when I found UnlimitedShowers.com. They had a fantastic selection and prices that didn’t leave me in the cold water!

I decided that I would upgrade from my trusty old hinged door shower and go with the sliding door shower style. I love the way the door smoothly opens and closes on its rollers, and it looks very nice. I opted for glass doors and a chrome frame, and I have the most modern bathroom on the block now with my new spiffy shower. The best part is that I got free shipping on my new shower, and it was delivered right to my house. I didn’t have to try and borrow my friend’s truck to cart a new shower home from the store, and I found my new sliding door shower in my pajamas. Shopping online is the way to go!

Glass Showers Add a Touch of Class to Your Bathroom

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

Glass showers are one of the best upgrades you can give your bathroom. If you are doing a bathroom remodel and you want a bathroom that is classy and elegant, then glass showers may be just what you need. The clear glass makes the room seem larger, because it is much more open than a closed off shower curtain. You can go with a frameless shower enclosure or one with a frame, depending on the look you’re trying to create. There are polished chrome, nickel, brass or white frame shower enclosures and if you find shower and sink fixtures to match the frame enclosure, you will tie the look in seamlessly.

There are also frameless glass showers to choose from, and those also make your bathroom look bigger and add a touch of class. You can get the basic shower, or if you are doing a remodel and want to get the top of the line fixtures, you can go with a jetted shower that has a steam kit. If you have a steam shower with a jetted water panel, you will find that you won’t want to get out of the bathroom, even when it’s time to go. You can bring a touch of luxury to your home with one of these showers, and you will more than get your money’s worth out of it by reducing your stress with its therapeutic qualities daily.

A Shower Massage Column Relieves Stress

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008

I don’t know about you, but I find that my schedule keeps me pretty busy from sun up to sun down. I don’t know when I got so busy, but somewhere along the way in life, I found my obligations increased in number and they are all important. I have to get up early in the morning to get my kids ready for school, make sure they get a good breakfast along with my husband, and get myself ready for work and run out the door so we’re not late. I work all day and then pick up the kids from school, take them to soccer practices and piano lessons, get home to make dinner, help with homework, and before I know it, it’s time to go to sleep and begin it all again the next day. During the course of my hectic weekdays, I find small comforts to relax with, such as enjoying those precious few quiet minutes of alone time when I take my showers.

Since taking my shower is an everyday task that I also enjoy as a stress reliever, my husband got me a very thoughtful gift not too long ago. He was making some improvements around the house and he installed a shower massage column for me, so that I could enjoy my few minutes of quiet time even more. I do love the new shower column, because it has extra water jets to massage my tired muscles and make me feel like a million bucks every time I step out of the stall. I think that my new shower column has to be one of the most useful gifts my hubby has ever given me, and it helps me keep going everyday with less stress.

Acrylic Shower Stalls for Safety First

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008

If you have kids, you know that it can be very difficult to childproof everything in your home. It seems they are always getting into new kinds of trouble, as fast as I try and make sure every room in the house is safe for them. The bathroom is a landmine, so when it was time to replace the shower enclosure, I wanted to find something that was kid-friendly. That’s when I found acrylic shower stalls at Unlimited Showers, and I felt my search was finally over. An acrylic enclosure is safer to have in my children’s bath than solid glass, and I feel good about this improvement in my home.

The best part about acrylic or even fiberglass shower enclosures is that I don’t have to worry about my kids hurting themselves on these types of shower enclosures as opposed to glass ones, but another great feature is that they are so easy to clean. I can just wipe them down with a little bathroom cleaner and they are good to go. No extra squeegee after every shower, because it’s all I can do to get my kids to pick up their used towels off the floor. They won’t squeegee glass after every shower! My new acrylic shower enclosure gives me peace of mind and is easy to keep looking nice, so I recommend them to all my other parenting friends.

Shower Doors are Better than Curtains

Friday, October 10th, 2008

If you have a shower curtain, you know what a mess they can make. If you don’t get them positioned just so while you’re in the shower, then you find a big water mess on your floor when you’re done. Who wants this kind of a mess to clean up every day? Well hello, shower doors! Even if you have a tub and shower combo, you can still benefit from getting a shower door installed on the rim of your tub.

Shower doors that are attached to the top outer rim of the tub and either leave room for your to get in and out of the tub or have a sliding door mechanism will make your life much easier. They are so easy to install that you can even do it yourself, just make sure to caulk and seal it properly so that you don’t have any chance for water leaks. If you seal it correctly, you’ll find that you never need to worry about slipping on a puddle when you get out of the shower again. Go ahead and find a new shower door or even a new shower enclosure and kiss your puddles goodbye!

Discount Steam Showers are the Way to Go

Friday, October 10th, 2008

I know that starting a home improvement project during these troubled economic times may not be the most advisable thing to do, but when my crusty old shower stall finally bit the dust last weekend, I had to do something! I need to shower everyday, so not doing anything was not an option, and since getting a new shower is not something we do every year, I decided it would best to get the shower I really wanted, since we’d be together everyday for a long time. I have always wanted a steam shower, but when I started looking for them at my local home stores, I thought, "maybe…not".

When my friend suggested that I look at online stores to see what I could find there before giving up the steam shower dream, I thought I would give it a shot, even though I wasn’t convinced I’d find any better deals than I did at the stores. That was when I found Unlimited Showers! They had a great selection of discount steam showers, and I found the perfect size and style for my bathroom. They also shipped it to me for me FREE and I didn’t pay sales tax, which is an unbeatable deal. So even though times are kinda tough, Unlimited Showers gave me the deal I needed to stay within my budget and replace a very necessary bathroom fixture!

Find an Online Shower Store to Save Money

Friday, October 10th, 2008

These days, with the housing market being rather scary, many people are opting to stay put in their current home rather than sell and move. To satisfy that need for change or upgrading however, a lot of people are doing home improvement projects. One of the most popular rooms for remodeling is the bathroom, because we all spend so much time in there! Whether you want a new steam shower or free standing bathtub, this room is good choice for remodeling. Bathroom fixtures and the installation can get expensive though, and there are a couple easy ways to save some money on your project.

One great way to save money on your home improvement project is to shop online. Instead of going to local stores, get online and find a shower store or bathtub retailer who will give you a good deal. You may be surprised if you compare the price of bathtubs and showers at your neighborhood stores with the prices of online retailers. Online merchants will often give you a discount, or a deal like free shipping to get your business. Another way you can save money is to get a good do-it-yourself book. There may be some things you need a professional for, but there are many things you can do yourself, such as caulking the new tub or shower. Every little thing you can do yourself is one less thing you need to pay someone for. Happy remodeling and good luck!
